CJ MONÉT PRESENTS

CONFESSIONS OF A PEOPLE PLEASER

North Carolina artist CJ Monét confronts the emotional toll of people-pleasing in her debut studio album, Confessions of a People Pleaser. Created in collaboration with Josh Emick of the68Sound, the project draws directly from the pair’s personal experiences, unpacking grief, the fear of aging, and the difficult process of breaking inherited habits and emotional patterns. Featuring contributions from fellow North Carolina musicians, the album stands as an intimate, homegrown reflection on healing, identity, and self-worth.

Enjoy.
